How Adding Items Works
ShareWants gives you three easy ways to add items to your wishlist, so you can save gift ideas no matter where you find them.
1. Share Extension (Fastest)
While browsing any online store on your phone, tap the share button and select ShareWants. The app automatically extracts the product name, image, price, and link. It works with Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and any mobile browser.
2. AI Product Scanner
Found something you love in a physical store? Open ShareWants, tap the camera icon, and snap a photo. Our AI identifies the product, searches for it online, and adds it to your list with all the details filled in.
3. Paste a Link
Copy a product URL from anywhere and paste it directly into ShareWants. The app extracts all product information automatically from 24+ supported retailers.
Supported Retailers
ShareWants works with over 24 major retailers, and the share extension works with virtually any online store. Here are some of the stores our users love:
- General: Amazon, Target, Walmart, Costco
- Fashion: Nike, Nordstrom, Lululemon, Zara, H&M
- Beauty: Sephora, Ulta, Glossier
- Electronics: Best Buy, Apple, Samsung
- Home: IKEA, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, West Elm
- Specialty: Etsy, REI, Anthropologie, Patagonia
Plus many more. If the store has a product page, ShareWants can save it to your wishlist.
Social Wishlist Features
Unlike private wishlist apps, ShareWants is designed for sharing. Here's how the social features work:
Follow Friends & Family
Search for people you know and follow them to see their wishlists in your feed. When a birthday or holiday comes around, you'll already know exactly what they want.
Gift Feed
Your feed shows the latest items added by people you follow. It's like a social media feed, but instead of posts, you see gift ideas from the people you care about.
Profile Sharing
Share your profile link via text, email, or social media. Anyone with the link can see your wishlist, even if they don't have the app. You can also share your unique QR code for in-person events.
